Which word in this language means you're a monk - "cloistered" or "closeted"?

I keep forgetting.

Here's a hint: A cloister is a place for monks - or nuns - a closet is a place for linen.

One thing you might want to keep in mind is that "in the closet" means "homosexual and keeping it secret".
