All right, stop me if this is a stupid question. I don't even know how to articulate it... How is it possible for people be in fashion? As people, I mean?
As far as I can tell, by considering them decorative (or not decorative) things.
Seems to be a pretty common attitude all around in author-world, just not voiced that clearly often.
But... but... buh?
Being decorative as a whole is one thing, but... "this feature you were born with is pretty now, but in a few months it won't be"?
I should stop saying "but" so much.
*shrug* :/
The above I can chalk up, with a wince, to cultural differences. However, violating the laws of physics, as their waterwheels do, is just rude.
Gods, chief, gods. Whaddayagonnado?
This is rather funny, considering one definition of magic I know is "violation of the laws of physics".
My favourite school of thought says "if it's possible, it does not break the laws of physics". Or, rephrased, "if it broke the laws of physics it wouldn't be happening".
Yes, but we1 came up with that before we met gods, who are known for doing six perverted things to the laws of physics before breakfast.
1 As in "the school of pragmagism"
Well, you could make up a laws of physics police and write tickets when they overdo it, or something like that.
Oh, We don't do anything of the sort. Breakfast is important, you see.
Do submo-- pardon, immortals eat, then?
I mean, I've heard of nectar and ambrosia, I just thought that was poetic bollocks.
The board is finished. Do we get graded now?
*gives Weft a badge reading "cute, but slightly over-protective"*
*gives Nico a badge reading "Lunatic"*
Whee! ^_^
Do I get one?
And me!
*hands Yavu a badge reading "Character most in need of a few extra calories", Triv one that's a cartoony drawing of an excited kitten*
Snags here? *vaguely waves a heart(symbol) shaped smiley face*
*emerges from the shadows behind Nico, examines badge, then grins widely and wears it*
