This is intended to be a safe space for characters. Simply put, the aim is that you as a fictional person can express yourself here without fear or reprisals. Having arguments is fine: authors may be using this board to practise characterising us, in animosities as well as reasoned discussions. (For example, I argue with Weft all the time.)
However, squabbles between authors have no place here. They will be stamped on by a moderator if we notice them, but if you notice your writer losing track of IC/OOC divisions, or in general taking anything here seriously, please tell them to back off immediately. Their direct communication here is tolerated because we have no choice, but it's not what this section is for.
Your moderators, as mentioned, are me and Sebastian. We're as new to this as the rest of you, so we will all be learning together how best to manage our section as a group. I can't speak for him, but you can call on me at any time and I will try to help.
A note for writers, from Siri's:
In-character snark aside, I felt some clarification of the basics was needed.
As my character said, this is a light-hearted board for characters. If you, as opposed to your cast, are getting annoyed by something, you need to take several steps back as a matter of urgency.
Siri is quite sensitive to what she terms characters being used as mouthpieces or otherwise harassed by us big meanie authors. Myself, I'm merely concerned that no section of the boards causes arguments.
Naturally, I hope our characters will be able to keep us in line and no more drastic action will be necessary.
