If you're prepared to be honest with the crushee, I don't see that there's any harm in admitting your feelings and seeing where you both want to go from there.

I don't know why we all get so wound up about these things. Love's generally a good thing. Unless there's any particular reason it's a bad idea for you to get involved at this time?
