General Fochs... Scary.

I don't think I understand your train of thought there...

That's okay, I think it forgot it was supposed to follow the railroads.

Does the term "soldier of fortune" make you cringe? :P

Well, the last two entries before mine I had not seen when I posted mine, if that makes any sense.

Not that I'm sure I understand you now.

Too much relying on luck in the Fochs family to be put in charge of people who do not have the family luck?

Please tell me I'm not the only one who forgets which character knows whose name, or doesn't...

I try not to use names the chara I'm posting for doesn't know, to avoid confusion, but it's a bit clunky and seems not usual here.

Yes, I forget too. And I try to do the same when talking from a chara's point of view. When I'm talking as the omniscient narrator, it doesn't matter.

Hey Anke - did my nieces journal get to you yet?

No, but from comments Mutt dropped, I guess it's either being made ready to be mailed soon or on the way. :-)

My mum's writing a chapter too. *g* About schooling in the UK. (Sh's a teacher.)

Drat. My father's a teacher, too, but doesn't speak English, or I could ask him to join in, just for a comparison. XD

Yooohooooo, Eriiiiin, addy please!

Oh! I have a new email - slac@hal-pc.org
you can also use sarin@redhotdancewear.com [note it's not sarina, just sarin]. They both get checked multiple times a day on most days.

I got the journal thingy!
Head's swirling with what to write and what not, and I'll have to scrounge some tourism leaflets to scavenge for pictures, not having a colour printer...

Yay, stampses XD

Yay! *sags with relief* I was worried for the poor bookie, all flyingy and stuff.

(I hope the stamps're ok and are ones you don't have and stuff. And that the peripheral thingy works.)

It flapped its covers bravely and did not drop into the British Channel or other bodies of water.

The stamps are great; from Hong Kong I had only *drummroll* QUEEN'S HEADS! before, and the golden 1st stamps are new to my collection, too, thanks! :-)

I need to figure out the thingy yet.

Say, if I found a postcard or something I think would interest you, could I send that to the return address you wrote on the envelope?

I'd squee. :> Glad the Quene's Heds didn't all fall off, then - I'm dubious about the new sticker kind. They didn't seem to have stuck very well, but I guess they did.

Random question - Helmine... not short for Wilhelmina, is it?

Nope, not if we're talking about the tiny foxey.

Otherwise, yeah, it is.

Yes, about the foxey. And thank frell for that. :D (I'd have had to rename Suitov's favourite daughter and one of those trolls on the innboard, which wouldn't be particularly troublesome, but I like Mina.)

Overheard while Mutt and Slen watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), which, for various reasons, we haven't ever got round to watching before...

quote:

Mutt: "...Wonka is so Snoggykins it's scaring me."
Slen: "...He really is!"
Paul: *slept through it, thus did not comment*
