Just to say that now I'm a Macromedia wizard, this entire site will be converted to Flash over the next week and a bit.

There is more information about the server move and continuing changes in the Janitor's Closet.

I am going to be deleting some old stuff from this General Chat topic shortly, mostly old 'Allo!' topics, and shuffling things around. Consider this a warning to save anything you want to save. (I will, of course, be keeping full backups of everything deleted.)

Board downtime

Preliminary warning. Expect the Pro boards to be locked (meaning they'll still be readable but you can't post) for up to a couple of hours, sometime in the next few days.

I can't tell you when yet (it depends on factors outside my control... sigh) but I'll let you know nearer the time.

HHnet, and hence Pro, may be inaccessible for a short time sometime during October. No dates given on that thread yet, but in case they update it, we're on the Ventura server.

(And my webhosts apparently use iStockphoto.com. Fascinating...)
