Yo J: So here's one idea I had early yesterday morning...

Horratio is a man in love. The only problem is that he's only met the object of his affection once. And that was a year ago. And he didn't get her name. And, all right, it wasn't really a meeting, more walking past her in the street.

He's been thinking about her ever since.

Horratio is - let's say he's a spellcaster, if you're having magic in the game, or maybe a scribe or delivery boy if not. He has a really obsessive personality. Really, really obsessive. Lots of scope for humour there, with a darker twist if you're so inclined.

The other party members don't know Horratio from Adam, but they are all friends of Female Luv Interest. Thence it's easy enough: you can have a female buddy who sticks around because she doesn't trust Horratio, and some convincing motivations for the others.

Don't stress, hey. A lot of much less-qualified people write RPG plots, truly dismal ones - and they sell by the bucketload.

All you need's a dragon that pops up and uses a waterfall attack!

And if you could get in the phrase "Sorry, the princess is in another castle" at some point... it would be much giggled at.

I'm ok. So are Slen and Julia, very likely, as none of us is in the capital.

Truly lovely - both Finntroll and Sonata. I'm definitely going to check out more Epica and Dragonland too.

It came out on Jonathan's too, although with quite a bit of static... although Norther sound as bad as they did on stage.

Ooh, and I forgot to mention...

quote:

"Hello England, we are from Finland,
We are Sonata, from grove of the inland"

I'm pretty sure it was something like that. SQUEE.

And England sings:

"long agooo-ooo-oooo"

"My Finland, is one who understands..."
