Oy. Antelope.
Sorry, darlings. Be back with you tonight.
All that action with Jason Bourne quite tired me out.
Well, chaps and chapesses, I'm off to sunny Madrid with the parental units for a couple of days.
I've added a post or two in recent days to keep you entertained until my return.
There's soda in the fridge.
Adios, bonitos!
Y viva el gatto!
Ugh!
Had to edit the last word of the Daily Service audio for today, because they talked over the end-of-the-hour beeps (Radio Four plays several beepy things on the hour).
Consequently it sounds like they're all saying "Amun".
You may all now smek the Mut.
Not at all. Amun is a perfectly respectable deity and he even has depth perception. I think.
Depth perception? What's that?
I don't got it.
On other news ... got the boyfriend a car this weekend. Woot!
Eh, earlier Mutt had pointed out an article that said Odin is god of the disabled because he only had one eye left. Depth perception requires 2 eyes, so Odin must have none. And Amun is an old Egyptian deity.
Woot car!
Ok ... I have two eyes but I dont have any depth perception. *blinkblink* the joys of having my parents eyes ... and teeth ... grrr....
That reminds me of an old joke.
"Do you know why women have no depth perception?"
(now, you need a visual, so hold your thumb and forefinger about 2 inches apart....)
"Because all our lives we've been told that this is 8 inches."
*ponders joke*
It's way funnier in person.....
Trust me......
Hey, I'm cracking up here. *immediately retells joke to sibling*
*cackle*
Inflammatory, very inflammatory (well, maybe?) discussion on atheism here. Just mentioned as a footnote to the atheism/religion discussion of a few days ago, though it's not directly related to that.
Atheism!
I believe!
*tilted mutterings*
BTW, moving to San Antonio, assuming I don't fail all my classes, etc.
CHURN! *pounce*
What's in Texas? Other than you soon?
*looks around slyly*
*grabs Churn and runs off with him*
Yes, why SA?
Lackland. My job.
I get to return there.
*tickles randomly*
So are you moving-moving, or is it just you staying in Tex temporary-like?
