Had to edit the last word of the Daily Service audio for today, because they talked over the end-of-the-hour beeps (Radio Four plays several beepy things on the hour).

Consequently it sounds like they're all saying "Amun".

Not at all. Amun is a perfectly respectable deity and he even has depth perception. I think.

On other news ... got the boyfriend a car this weekend. Woot!

Eh, earlier Mutt had pointed out an article that said Odin is god of the disabled because he only had one eye left. Depth perception requires 2 eyes, so Odin must have none. And Amun is an old Egyptian deity.

Ok ... I have two eyes but I dont have any depth perception. *blinkblink* the joys of having my parents eyes ... and teeth ... grrr....
