Aaaaaarh! How... er... something!
*Gareft retreats into his shoebox and tapes the lid shut*
Mwahahahahaaaa!
Candy. Ree. Snawglet. Everyone.
--It's a blinkin' BUFFY MIKADO. *dies*
quote:Assorted giant reptiles, and also giant apes,
And brain attacking parasites -- I've got them on the list.
*head spinning*
Mildly disturbing...
Read this book!
The Vimes thing is a good point. Coleridge reminds me more of The Thin Blue Line's Fowler; he's my favourite, too.
Have read it... I believe a sibling or other of yours made me.
I think I'm in heaven. Now I have to buy NWN.
No, I only THOUGHT I was in heaven THAT time.
THIS time I have...
Lucasfilm Games fonts!
*basks*
And this is for Miumau.
And this for Slen: A Ragpicker's Dream
If you believe Lucasfilm games were better before they became LucasArts...
this is heaven. Again.
With these and visiting my gran, that's my evening alllll tied up.
Tigers!
What with arriving home at 21:20, I didn't get around to the games. Passed the link on to my dad, though. *g* Lucky get's got broadband.
Donnie Darko is quite good. I've been watching loadsa films this past week. Kill Bill is good, though you know exactly what you're getting; The Princess Bride was fairly "aww"; Solaris ain't great shakes by any means; The Lion King (1) special edition DVD has some nifty extras, though I can't work out how to play the normal version of the film rather than the extended, and the fake Zazu/Timon/Pumbaa voices on the menus drive me nuts, 'cause they sound wrong!
I've got the Living Dead trilogy to absorb yet, and Ultraviole(n)t, and if I've got time I'm raiding the Monty Python films I bought "for Slen". Sadly, I'm too permanently tired to write full reviews.
Laatu for Windows!!
I especially like the G-clamp illustration. What's that used for, we wonder?
Living Dead? Ooh, do let me know how that goes. Some time ago the SciFi Channel ran Ultraviolet but I just couldn't get into it. Too damn clinical.
Me, I'm sitting here with Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for the Nintendo GameCube (the only video game I've ever played with a sanity meter, which I always let run low so I can see the insanity effects -- long story) and El Mariachi on VHS. I love me some Mariachi. It was remade with Selma Hayak and Antonio Banderas as Desperado, but I haven't bothered to see that yet. Besides, I acan halfway follow the Spanish of the original.
/me babbles.
*nods* I very much enjoyed the remake of Dawn, and remembered the original Night as okayish. The bandmate can be blamed for buying me the trilogy. It hasn't got watched yet, but now the sibs are back perhaps we'll all viddy them (well, providing Slen doesn't rebel).
Last DVDs I watched included the SF film which features Carrie Anne Moss. I can't - oh, was it called Red Planet? Yes. That was quite good. And the other one has the tagline "Terror times infinity" and is about a medical rescue ship called Nightingale which has a computer called Sweetie, but the film's title is evidently very unmemorable. It was also quite good, though neither was astounding.
*looks up title* Supernova. No wonder - you'd have to sit through most of it before someone utters the "we're all made of stellar ejaculate, you know" line and THEN you realise why the title.
The last film I watched, however was The Lion King II. *coughs, displaces*
