DFX Webs -- they're specialty, hosting RPG stuff only.

If you don't mind hassling with FTP, Port 5 has gotten zippy lately. Used to be pages took forever to load, but turning of CGI and PHP on free accounts must've sped up everything else.

I'd list a bunch more, but I don't have my big honkin' folder of hosting bookmarks on this computer. I gotta remember to move them to Yahoo so I can use them anywhere.

Domains are pretty cheap these days, though. There's a bunch of low cost top quality webhotel providers in Finland, anyway...

...but it's not always guaranteed how well Finnish webhotels handle their traffic to overseas and such. A great many Finnish servers are magnificently fast for Finns - and slow as hell for Merkans.

Anyway. Personally, I'm still a bit "not here" - as has been said on my LJ, Marvin committed suicide and its motherboard needs replacing, but I'm hoping to be fully back online next week.
