mmm, proart. *should really finish a drawing in progress so can move onto other things*
Hey you - are you able to be around tonightin a few hours' time, or at any point in the next half day? Since it's Friday and my last day with dog and a house to myself, I'm pulling another crazy allnighter :D and I like having people to share sleep-deprived crackpot thoughts with. (This applies to everyone, of course! Mass chat!)
Boring stickman and cute dwaggie!
(Sorry. Normally I'd at least have the facility to resize, contrastify and compress it properly, but dad's computer has nothing but Paint. *g*)
Aasaawwwwwwww.
I'd like to note that currently I'm resisting the temptation of having Ayu-Asra starting to bite Weft in the ear affectionately.
Maybe he's always secretly wanted a dragon ear piercing. Incidentally, he doesn't have big earlobes - his ear's mostly cartilage.
errrm ok im somewhat confused, how many of these threads are connected? cos ive seen many of them, but dont know what im doing! I have some character ideas, but have no idea where to post them or how to integrate them into stories! (sry bout this, tis a confusing forum...)
Don't worry about it, Sky. If it's confusing, I need to explain better. *g*
This here is the "inn" board (a lot of fantasy RP groups have one of these). It's for character socialising, practicing with new characters and general fun-having.
Most or all the storyboards on the front page are sort-of connected in the sense that they take place in the same 'universe' - so, the same character can take part in several stories. But they're all separate stories. The inn and Promenade Hall are located near each other, but what goes on in one building needn't affect what happens in another. Unless you want it to.
In every storyboard there's an "OOC" area like this one, which is for discussing things out-of-character and doesn't affect the "story" pages (except in the sense that we might use the OOC page to discuss and make plans for what's happening next).
When you get to a list with lots of pages ("Inn 1", "Inn 2"...) you skip right to the last page to post. The older ones are closed/finished pages, but we've left them there for folks to read if they want.
How to make new characters: you add them to Twine, the encyc. that's linked at the top of the page. You can also make a direct link by typing \twine{Character,some text} - so say I wanted to make a page for a character called Mutt, I'd type \twine{Mutt,my new character} and end up with "my new character".
When you get to the page in Twine you want to change, make sure you've put in your name and the edit password in "Preferences" (at the top of the encyclopaedia page). The edit password is lurcher (all in lower-case letters).
More instructions for the wiki
Added this info to Welcome Area too.
*squee* XD
It does?
Apparently! *halfiehappy*
Oh, and I cheekily slipped a wiki-link into your post, Snoggie, for the benefit of the newer kitties.
You ninja.
With bells on?
And why is it I never, ever remember my password for Twine?
And fluffy dice!
Fluffy dice with bells on! Brightly coloured! Every ninja needs those! :D
Isn't there just one password for Twine, so you cannot set it yourself, which would it make easier to forget?
I pulled it out of the email Mutt sent me way back when.
Yes. The password's - hang on, I'll email it to everyone.
Thanks, dawg. <3 I feel senile.
