You know, I've been wondering what would happen if Lance had something chopped off. I mean...it wouldn't kill him, so I wonder if it would grow back...
Maybe it would only grow back if it was something that would kill him; ie, if he got his head chopped off. Haha. Two headed Lance.

Maybe he wouldn't regenerate fully but would adapt in some way, such as regrowing a rudimentary feeding apparatus, breathing filter and sensory pits?

Eeeew. No, I don't think that would happen, simply and selfishly because I love him too much. He'd probably regrow things just as they were before they were chopped off.
(Jess: It would be funny if they had to regrow from birth...so like, he'd have a baby head and would be stuck with a kid's head for twenty years or whatever.)

Can he get ill? Can he make himself ill? Can he become malnourished? If he contracted a fatal disease would he feel all the symptoms but not die? That would be dreadful. How about chronic or cyclical infections?
What about injuries almost to the point of death? If he should get an additional injury that would push it into fatal territory, does bleeding suddenly stop?
What counts as death? Would he, for example, be able to undergo a brain or heart transplant? If he should become bodyswapped, which is immortal then - host body, former body or both? If he donates blood or bone marrow, do they behave as normal?
(Er, honey, this list in fact continues for several pages, doesn't it? I'm not typing up the whole thing.)

I somehow get the feeling if the answer was "don't know", Suitov might want to do some tests to find out?
