I find it more disturbing that they seem to get along.

Sebbie's too perky for his life.

Suitov tends to get on with anyone who doesn't try to come onto him. He seems to treat it as a litmus test for anyone who can resist his natural +4 charisma.

Not that he's irritated by everyone who likes him; far from it. Just most of the psycho obsessive ones.

Ummm... Agueda's in the building, it would seem.

I figured since she's nomadic by nature now, what with all the travelling and stuff, plus the fact that the inn draws people there somehow... I just couldn't think of a reason why she wouldn't be there!

Beware, though. She's been having disturbing Tarynish nightmares for about four days. She's probably not even aware of where she is or what the date is, she's so consumed by the whole thing.

Hence the drinking.

Well, the inn does indeed attract people in distress, so you're bang on the button. *eg*

I wanted to ask about Agueda's propheteering powaz, how they work, etc. (Don't mind me; I'm obsessed with such details, whee!)

Oh - did you have a copy of the profile you wrote up for her? I have a backup of your Characters page with Agueda and Izzy&Micah.

Satan is typing away at his Apple Mac when Hell's electricity supply fails. After the blackout the lights come up again, but Satan has to start work from scratch. A few hours later it happens again, and Satan loses his work again. Looking up, he notices Jesus happily typing away; he hasn't lost anything.

"Bah," Satan says, "what's he doing that I'm not?"

And a random imp says, "Jesus saves."

(Then Satan incinerates the imp for being a smartarse.)

Worked fine when I backed all the way out and started over, but the board didn't have as many posts as it had before.

Agueda's powers? Well, I'm afraid I'm going with the Biblical definition of prophecy ie. not simply telling the future but the ability to speak into someone's life... revelation typeish.

Since Agueda didn't finish a huge part of her training (and prophetesses need it in varying degrees throughout their entire life [well, until The Long Walk at least]) she really only knows the basics. Most of it is following her instincts, which gives it a slightly different outcome.

She feels the sensation of ‘tapping into’ a ‘higher power’, and she can feel that this power is not passive ie. she cannot pick and chose what she takes from it, she can only receive what she is given (with a degree of ‘tilting’). Sometimes she won’t receive anything. She can also tell that this higher power has a personality and a little is revealed to her each time she ‘taps in’.

Agueda very rarely uses her powers of prophecy. She feels she lacks authority. This in itself causes her problems because it’s an integral part of who she is and she feels a need to express that. She’ll often speak in tongues though.

I’m aware this all makes sense on Planet Julia but I’m not sure how well I’m explaining it.

And now I fear I must run and hide from Sebbie and Jaina's vengeance. *legs it!*

Nope, didn't lose anything. It just kept giving me an authentication error. Then it told me that I couldn't add posts to a board without an "Add a Message" window. Which was mildly amusing. I saved the post in notepad, whined a bit at the Occ. Table then backed all the way out of pro/squirrels. When I charged back in it was fine, but I noticed the # of posts on the board had changed.
One of these days I will get back into the habit of saving the post before I try to post it. I've gotten out of the habit since Discus doesn't tend to gobble things up like the good old SFV used to.

I use Opera to write posts. It has a nifty thing called Notes. I can copy my post-to-be and "paste" it to a Note. Even if the browser dies after that, it keeps my Note. All I have to do to retry the posting is Paste From Note and submit it again.

At once point (before I had Opera), I lost something like three slaved-over posts in a week. Ever since, anything longer than a line or two gets written in Notepad and saved to desktop every few lines.
