Just to give you a heads-up, everyone's going to be shepherded outside soon (before the place collapses) and Basky's going to be shamelessly offering free drinks to anyone willing to help shift and sand down the furniture. Builders are arriving in a few hours' time (board time, that is - it's the middle of the night there now).

And so you know in advance, our characters are going to be naming the place. At least, the incumbents will accept suggestions, though ultimately Suitov's the one you'll have to convince.

There will be staff arriving eventually. Suitov's not going to run the place; he's getting a manager. All he's really interested in are the legal neutral-ground implications. Oh, and the cursed ancient burial site.

On a slightly different note:

Agueda isn't really used to Basky's 'all-round bad ass' thing in her men. She tends to prey on the soft ones when she gets desperate.

The tables. Is he going to ask her to lift them? If so she will have problems with her heart.

What Bede does to people

Agueda can sense that Basky and Suitov are 'bonded' but for now she doesn't care about the exact nature of this bond. She's in no fit state to figure it out anyway.

Same goes for her Svengale triats. They lose accuracy when she's intoxicated.

If Agueda were to put pictures in Basky's head (assuming she's ever going to be sober), would Suitov automatically see them or could she give Basky a private viewing, so to speak?

PS: Do try not to belch, Basky dear. She won't like that at all.

Suitov: "The nature of the bond is such that communication between us is strictly private. He is able to share information with me, but it is not obligatory. Anyway, I can ignore him."

Agueda seems to be of the opinion that you are a perfect gentleman, Basky. I can't think why.
