Two possible things, as it turned out. Woohoo! They are the only senses in which I've seen the term used, anyway.

We used to have discussions and/or problems to do with this at Proelium way back, so that's why I was curious as to what you wanted.

I'm quite aware that I have the most powerful, potentially unbalancing character here nowadays. I give it a lot of thought. 'Twasn't always so - Suitov used to look quite, quite tame by comparison...

(But in case the above looks like I'm sniping, what we were writing at the time were also much more grand and space-operatic plotlines - er, or whatever's the fantasy equivalent of space operatic! - where such characters can be used successfully, if written well...)

I've made a flurry of minor edits recently to introduce the new species name for Shaded 'humans' - faleigh(s). Pronounced "fally" and "fallies". The spelling may possibly change to ffaleigh... I'm not sure and giving it a while to settle first.

The other generics will also be getting new names. In ascending height order, we have voks, srolli, ferais, faleigh and rocca.

The names have a bunch of purposes - reflection of different language families, making it a bit more intuitively obvious that Shaded 'trolls' can't interbreed with other 'trolls', and generally avoiding confusion. (Ree remarked that ferais' lack of pointed ears and super specialness and long lifespans nigh on broke her brain before I renamed them from generic 'elves'...)

In other news, I've also recently added a monastic purity chart for your theological edification, a guide to the Fauna of Instar and an updated general guide to the Great-War-related bits of my universe.

I've now added the proper names for all five of Shade's sapient bipeds.
